Industrial cleaners are responsible for keeping industrial spaces safe and clean. As an industrial cleaner, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of places like power stations, steel mills, wastewater plants and refineries. You will learn the safe and efficient use of hand tools and materials through classroom and on the job training. This position requires an ability to pay attention to detail, follow safety protocols, and work efficiently and effectively in potentially hazardous conditions.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning machinery and equipment such as boilers, pipes conveyors belts and tanks
- Monitoring work areas for safety and environmental concerns and reporting any unsafe conditions or concerns to supervisor as needed.
- Wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves, hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, steel toed boots when required for specific tasks
- Operate a variety of hand tools such as safety equipment, vacuum hoses, high-pressure water lances, shovels, and other construction equipment
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Load, and unload job supplies to and from job sites
- Follow OSHA, Company and Customer safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Shoveling and pressure washing
- Participate in safety discussions and paperwork
- Perform general housekeeping and maintenance tasks on job sites
Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to work well with other job site peers and supervisors
- Must be able to climb, stairs, ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to work safely Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read and understand job scope and safety plans
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working on a construction or industrial site a plus
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and call outs and possible holidays
- Must be able and willing to submit to company and customer required drug and alcohol testing
