The Site Manager is responsible for customer account for daily projects as well as developing future project potential.  The Site Manager will meet with the customer liaison daily for updated work scope assignments.  The Site Manager will work with the C&K Operations team to communicate customer needs, time lines and coordinate necessary personnel and equipment. 

Previous experience within the environmental remediation, environmental industrial services, or construction related fields are required.  The Site Manager shall report directly to the General Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job site safety:

  • The Site Manager will have knowledge of customer specific requirements such as plant entry protocols, site specific training, site specific safety requirements and reporting requirements for all locations they are responsible for.
  • The Site Manager may hold or delegate to Project Managers assigned to specific job, a pre-job tool box meeting with the crew before work is performed discussing the specific hazards of the project. All crew members must sign the standard pre-job tool box meeting form to be kept on file at the main office.
  • The Site Manager shall ensure safe work practice for employees and sub-contractors on his/her project by continuously monitoring throughout project.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects as defined by customer specifications
  • Manage and report any changes in project scope, or schedule
  • Site Manager is responsible for ensuring the Project Managers have completed of all job tickets and timely submission to dispatch for payroll processing.
  • Site Manager will communicate any variances in project cost or billing discrepancies with the customer for resolution

Employee Relations and Supervision:

  • Provide direction to other individuals.
  • Site Manager is expected to support employee career development
  • The Site Manager shall complete discipline reports up to including termination for any employee that fails to meet the specified safety, production, efficiency goals of their project.
